Bridging Distances: Remote Monitoring Systems Revolutionize Microgrid Efficiency

In the power plant, there are 4 systems that are being individually monitored 24x7, i.e. battery inverter, solar inverter, diesel generator and plant output energy meter.  The challenge is how to support the local DU operator in remote island locations with long travel time and limited transportation.​


Partnership for Progress: One Renewable partnered with Odyssey, a company that provides remote monitoring solutions accelerates the clean energy transition in emerging markets. 


Integrated Dashboard for Seamless Oversight: A key aspect of this collaboration involves the integration of energy meters, consolidating crucial information into a single, user-friendly dashboard. This centralized platform facilitates remote support for the local operator stationed on-site, irrespective of the time or location. The seamless access to comprehensive data not only enhances operational efficiency but also contributes to substantial cost savings.
